Nollywood actor Ajemba Stanley, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, has expressed his disappointment after a livestream showed actress Regina Daniels at the residence of her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
Stanley, who had openly supported Regina during her widely publicised marital crisis with the Delta North senator, said he was upset that he was not informed about the reported development.
The actor shared his reaction on Instagram, explaining that he felt left out after previously speaking publicly in support of Regina during the difficult period.
According to Stanley, he became deeply involved in the situation and claimed that his actions in support of the actress almost led to him being arrested.
He said he had received questions from people asking whether it was true that Regina had returned to Ned Nwoko’s residence and whether he was aware of the development.
Stanley also revealed that some of the activists he brought into the matter were unhappy with him following Regina’s reported return. He said they questioned why they had become involved in the family dispute after he had assured them that Regina would not return to the senator.
The actor further recalled that he was the person who initially shared a video showing people allegedly harassing Regina at Ned Nwoko’s house.
Stanley also questioned Regina’s explanation that she had only gone to the residence to see her children. He said her relaxed appearance in the viral video made him doubt the explanation.
He expressed concern that Regina had returned to the house without informing him, despite his claim that he was very close to the family. Stanley said the development left him feeling embarrassed and disappointed, adding that he could not sleep and had cried over the situation.
The actor also recalled the extent of his involvement during the marital crisis, saying he stood by Regina even when members of her family encountered difficulties. He added that the experience had made him decide against getting involved in another husband-and-wife dispute.
Stanley became one of the prominent voices surrounding Regina and Ned’s marital crisis after their relationship attracted significant public attention.
Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko got married in 2019 and have two sons, Munir and Khalifa. Their relationship came under renewed scrutiny in 2025 after Regina made allegations of domestic violence. Ned denied the claims and accused her of substance abuse, while both sides later made further allegations and denials as the dispute entered the legal process.
The situation also involved their children, with court proceedings concerning custody and access. Regina had previously spoken publicly about being separated from her children, while Ned’s camp denied that she was being prevented from seeing them.
