PBAT Door-to-Door Movement Reaffirms Support for Tinubu’s 2027 Reelection, Decorates Meseko as Ambassador
ABUJA — The North Central Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Ambassador Omotowa Victor Opeyemi, has led members of his team on a strategic courtesy visit to the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Honourable Durosinmi Meseko, to strengthen engagement and explore areas of collaboration in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The meeting, which brought together the leadership of the Movement and the APC National Publicity Directorate, focused on strategic communication, grassroots mobilization, stakeholder engagement and innovative approaches to taking the message and achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians across the North Central Zone and beyond.
Speaking during the visit, Ambassador Omotowa reaffirmed the commitment of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement to sustained grassroots mobilization and public enlightenment, emphasizing that the Movement is determined to take its message directly to communities and households in line with its philosophy: “Door to Door, Every Door Matters.”
He further reaffirmed the Movement’s determination to galvanize millions of votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection in 2027, through structured grassroots engagement, voter education, community outreach and sustained advocacy for the continuity of policies and programmes of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
According to Ambassador Omotowa, the Movement will continue to build strategic partnerships with APC leaders, stakeholders, community influencers, youth and women groups and other relevant actors to deepen grassroots participation and ensure that the achievements and programmes of the administration are effectively communicated to the people.
A major highlight of the meeting was the formal decoration of Honourable Durosinmi Meseko as an Ambassador of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement.
The honour, according to the Movement, is a recognition of Honourable Meseko’s position within the APC communication structure and an expression of confidence in his capacity to contribute to the Movement’s vision of effective grassroots communication, mobilization and advocacy.
Receiving the honour, Honourable Meseko welcomed the delegation and appreciated the leadership of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for the initiative. He emphasized the importance of effective communication, grassroots engagement and constructive collaboration in strengthening the connection between the government, the party and the people.
The discussions also explored possible areas of collaboration between the Movement and the APC publicity structure, particularly in strategic communication, grassroots mobilization, youth and women engagement, stakeholder relations and the dissemination of information concerning government programmes and policies.
The North Central Coordinator reiterated that the Movement would continue to work within the framework of democratic engagement and constructive advocacy while mobilizing support for the Renewed Hope Agenda and President Tinubu’s bid for continuity in 2027.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing optimism about sustained engagement and collaboration in advancing grassroots communication, mobilization and support for the Renewed Hope Agenda.
