His musical journey began in his early teens, writing lyrics and melodies inspired by local culture and the sounds of legends like 2Baba, Burna Boy, and Wizkid. In 2015, he took his first major step into the studio, recording his debut track “Omalicha” produced by DJ Emmy P — a defining moment that marked the beginning of a purposeful musical path.
Though self-taught and without formal training, Nelly has sharpened his craft through relentless dedication, personal exploration, and a passion for storytelling. His debut EP "BLESSED", released on June 25, 2025, stands as a testament to his growth and authenticity. Each track on the project reflects real-life experiences — from love and heartbreak to hustle and hope — making his music both relatable and uplifting.
