The outreach which was carried out on Friday 8th March, 2024 at about 12:45pm in Ikot Ekpene main market popularly known as Urua Ato had Queen Marcellina Obot; Miss Venux Akwa Ibom and other members of Face of Valentine crew.
Queen Blessing Udoh also known as Queen Cyndy while talking to the market women, acknowledged that women have the rights to live in dignity, in freedom from want and freedom from fear and on behalf of the brand, she decided to come and celebrate them and to encourage them in their daily market sales.
She also added that women are the real architects of the society and that women are the pillars of strength in our society.
It was indeed an exciting moment as the market women could not hold their happiness to their self by singing a song of victory while appreciating and thanking the queens for their kind gesture and for having them at heart in a time like this where everyone is thinking of survival.
The items also distributed at the outreach was sanitary pads to secondary school female students who were just passing by while coming back from their respective school.
As the theme for this year's International Women's Day 2024 was "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress", the queens took center stage displaying placards with various description such as "Happy International Women's Day", "A wise woman won't want be anyone's enemy", "There is no limit to what a woman can accomplish", and "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress".
The outreach ended in a grand style as the market women prayed for queens.
However, highpoint of the outreach was photo session with the market women and the crew.
